  • I am currently having the same problem as the people above - I sent my phone which is only a couple of weeks out of the box (came free with new contract) sp is in perfect condition - they quoted £45 but when \i checked my account they reduced this to £30 - when I rang - finally got through to Clarence who reckoned the phone had been assessed by a third party assessor and claimed there were scratches on the screen - which I know is patently untrue - I was offered an increase to £37 or I could have my phone posted back to me at a cost to me of £10 - having seen the comments about the phone not getting returned or returned with a scratch - I will now probably accept the £37 -but BE WARNED every one these people are con artists and you WILL get less than you were promised!

  • I used Mobile Phone Xchange and they were great! Really helpful. Spoke to a girl called Tasmin I think (?) and she was very helpful and patient when I called for a quote. I got the full money she told me my phone was worth. I was very happy and recommended them to my brother who also had a great experience. I'm a little shocked by all these bad reviews!

  • I have just had my mobile returned after they would not pay the £98. The reason they gave was a scratch on the screen and white dots. I could not understand this as I had checked the phone over before I sent it and it was in perfect working order with very minor scratches only. I also have evidence of this as I took pictures before I sent it as I was going to ebay it, but decided to use mobile phone xchange at the last minute. Having just received the phone back, I can now see a fresh scratch about 1/2cm long in the middle of the screen. The scratch is new as you can see there is no grub in it. I know this wasn’t done in the post as it was in a jiffy bag and inside its leather case that I have had it safely in for 18 months. I have also turned it on and there are no white dots on the screen except for in the actual image on the home screen. A child could see that was the image and not the screen. Maybe they dropped it on the floor, maybe they scratched it on purpose before they sent it back - either way, a disgraceful service.

  • This is the worst company ever. If you dont believe me do a little more research on the net. They WILL NOT give you the price they quote. Once they recieve it you will reioeve an email saying something is wrong with it (seems like they like to say the screen has white spots on it at the moment) and will offer you 1/5th of the mone they originally quoted. You then have to pay £10 for them to return the phone to you which many people have never had returned and more than often recieve the wrong phone back. Do not use this company - you have been warned!!

  • I have experienced exactly this situation with this company. I am now without any money or my phone and now they refuse to reply to any of my emails. I have just waited in a que for 45 minutes and no one has answered. Keep away from this company.

  • Avoid this company at all costs - they will not give you the price they quote, will charge you to return your phone and then never send the phone. At least research this company a little on review sites and you will see the number of people complaining about them. Find a reputable company - even if they are not quoting the highest amount, it will work out more in the long run.

  • I traded in my phone for cash and was offered a substantial amount of money in relation to what I paid for it 2 years ago. It's a great alternative if nobody you know wants your old phone.
